Wake County Environmental Health Program Manager – Food & Lodging – Duties:
Manages and directs a Food and Lodging Section by evaluating operational effectiveness, developing policies and implementing changes that improve the Section’s efficient delivery of food and lodging services through education and uniform inspections. Evaluates the unit’s effectiveness and links individual performance to those benchmarks to assure staff resources are aligned with organizational goals. Serves as a subject matter expert within a specific technical or professional discipline with a broad understanding of other functions within the division. Prepares initial budget requests and manages implementation and expenditures.
