Mecklenburg County Public Health currently has a Senior Environmental Health Specialist job opening within our Preventive Health Division. The primary job duty includes inspections of shared kitchens, mobile food service. Other duties include supporting frontline team members when inspecting mobile foodservice, inspections of shared kitchens, and permitting of food service establishments.
Minimum of three years of experience in the field of environmental health and authorization in Food, Lodging, and Institutions or two years’ experience in the field of environmental health and authorization in Food, Lodging, and Institutions if a fully registered environmental health specialist and has successfully completed the NC State REHS Board requirements.
Salary Range:
$66,695.15 – $100,042
