The Onsite Water Protection Branch/Well Contractors Certification Commission is looking for a new Environmental Specialist. The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical and executive support to the Well Contractors Certification Commission (WCCC) so that the Commission can carry out their duties as outlined in the NC General Statutes to protect public health and safety as well as groundwater quality. Furthermore, this position will assist well contractors, county environmental health specialists, and the general public regarding well contractor certification requirements and investigate reports of violations of Article 7A.
